-Support for Wide Ultra2 SCSI protocol featuring data transfer rates of up to 80 MB/s, twice as fast as Wide-Ultra SCSI-3. Longer cable lengths of up to 12 meters.

-A four times increase in the size of the on-board accelerator cache, from 16 MB to 64 MB. The new cache board memory is ECC protected and includes batteries that will keep the data active for over 72 hours when power is down.

-A new Performance Tuning Tool (PTT) allows the network administrator to tune the RAID Array for better performance based on applications. Stripe size and Cache allocation to read and/or write operations can be adjusted. Effective use of the PTT can result in over 20% performance improvement.

-The two SCSI Buses can be distributed for internal and or external use without the need for special brackets, cables or knockouts.
